Glimpses of the past summary

In this chapter it is given about how the brittishers came to India and how they started their rule even when they were not iterested on ruling the country as they came to India for having a profitable trade with the country. Firstly they started their business and after some years they started their rule over the country. They made their own decisions and they were very happy to have their own rules. They started defeating the rulers of India and then they started their rule according to this all the people were forced to do the work given by the British government and they were also asked to obey the rules and regulations including the revenue system formed by the government. In this chapter it is also written some points regarding the 1857 rebelion and only one event held after the independence of our country India.
