Natural satellites are -
(i) heavenly bodies revolving around a planet in their fixed orbits.
(ii) These are comparatively bigger in size and are made up of rocky material or gases.
(iii) They are permanent .
(iv) They are not used for communication .
Artificial satellites are -
(i) manmade bodies fitted with sophisticated instruments and cameras and are
(ii) made to rotate around their planets in pre-fixed orbits. These are much closer to their planet, e.g. earth.
(iii) They are temporal.
(iv) They can communicate with instruments on earth.
