    The utility of honey is as follows:

    1. Honey is a food of high nutritive value. It also helps in the growth of our body as it contains iron and calcium.
    2. Honey has great importance for its medicinal value especially in disorders related to digestion, dysentery, vomiting and stomach, and liver ailments. 
    3. Beeswax is used in the preparation of cosmetics and polishes of various kinds etc.
    4. It is also used as a source of sugar in confectionary items.
