The over-use of chemical fertilizers can lead to soil acidification because of a decrease in organic matter in the soil. Nitrogen applied to fields in large amounts over time damages topsoil, resulting in reduced crop yields. Clay soils have an ability to buffer the effects of excess chemical fertilization.

Because of following reasons
1.  Not all products are created equally and many organic products produce inconsistent results.
2. Nutrient Levels Are Low
3. While you can produce your own compost, it’s a messy and complicated process that often leads to an inconsistent product and end-result.
