Season and nature of the soil.
Explanation:
Season: the frequency of the soil depends much on the season. For instance, the frequency of irrigation of crop in the summer season increases as the rate of evaporation from leaves and soil become higher and in the winters the frequency of soil gets a decrease due to a lower rate of evaporation.
Nature of the soil: another important factor on which time and frequency of irrigation depend is thee nature of the soil. For instance, if the water retaining capacity is higher then there is no requirement for irrigating the soil many times as the soil possess the capacity of holding water for a long time.
