Whenan object moves around a fixed point, on a circular path, it is said to be in a circular motion . For example - arms of a watch, blades of fan etc and when an object does not change its position on the whole from one place to another, it is said to be in rotation or rotatory motion. For example, a giant wheel, arms of a watch etc.
