Right to Equality is a fundamental right promised by the Indian constitution. This right ensures that every person, despite of his religion, caste, gender, race, ***, background etc. would be treated equally. If a person thinks that his/her fundamental rights have been violated by the state, he/she may approach the court. This is 'Right to Equality'.
