    Longitudes are imaginary lines running from north pole to south pole on a globe . They are also caled meridians . It also mesures how far est or west an ob ject is . Latitudes are imaginary lines running from east to west on a globe . Latitudes are also called parallels as the run parellel to each other and the equator . It is also the distance between north or south of the equator . It is measured with the unit, degree .
