The three problems that the newly independent nation of India faced were- 1. India was partitioned into two Nations and a big number of refugees came from Pakistan to India causing great task for the Indian government to settle them. 2. We were divided into more than 570 princely states. Many of them were not willing to join independent India but after great difficulty they were made to join the Indian union. 3. We had various socio-economic problems like removal of caste differences, untouchability, lifting the mass above poverty line and many more.
