(i) Ultrasonic sounds are sounds whose frequency is more than 20,000 hz. For example- dogs, bats and dolphins (ii) Infrasonic sounds are sounds whose frequency is less than 20 hz.For example-whales, rhinoceroses and elephants.

Infrasonic sounds are those sounds which are less than 20 hertz whereas ultrasonic sounds are those sounds which are more than 20000 hertz.
