The hans carry out the internal fertilisation where as the fish carry out the external fer.... So, very low amount of there eggs get fertalised in which many cant survive .

Hens carry out internal fertilisation and due to this the egg gets fertilised but fishes and frogs carry out external fertilisation.... all the eggs do not get fertilised.... eggs even after getting fertilised are not able to survive.... very less eggs make their way to giving new ones... Hope this helps???
