if you imagine that there was the verses then you can notice that two stars at the corner passing imagine planned parking to these two stars then you can observe that the parting line is connected with a bright star that will not move to any direction at it is calls pole star

look at the two stars at the end of the ursa major. imagine a straight line as passing through the stars. extend this imaginery line towards north direction. this line will led to a star which is not too bright. this is pole star.
