When any ray of light reflect from the object and enter our eye then we are able to see that object. Now we know that in process of green house effect CO2 trap the heat and light ray of the sun and the ray does not reflect and go into the space. When we go to the moon,we clearly see the the earth if the light get trapped by the co2 gas?
