    • Wells, tube wells, ponds, lakes, dams, rivers and canals are some of the sources of irrigation.
    • Irrigation is the supply of water to crop at regular intervals of time.The frequency of irrigation varies from season to season and crop to crop.
    • Irrigation methods include traditional methods and modern methods.
