    He gave up the war because at the end of it, he went to see the battle field and saw the fierce destruction there. Bodies of innumerable dead people, loud cries of children, pain and sorrow, everywhere. That moved him deeply and resolved never to war, and serve the greater good, which was, winning the hearts of the people, and thus, that was gave up on war.
