There were two good friends Jumman Shaikh and Algu Chaudhary. They had a strong bond of friendship and they also looked after the families of each other. Jumman's aunt said she would transfer her property to him if he agrees to take care of her.

After a few years, she was not properly taken care of and was insulted in many ways. When her patience crossed her limit, she spoke to her nephew and demanded a monthly allowance. 

She called the Panchayat and nominated Algu as her head Panch. Being a Panch, Algu had to favour the truth and gave the verdict in aunt’s favour. Jumman did not take in the true spirit and they became enemies.  

Algu had been in debt and had to pay the money within a month. Unfortunately he was not able to pay back his debts and sold bullocks before the expiry of the period of the payment. 

Algu called the Panchayat. Samjhu appointed Jumman as the head panch. Algu thought Jumman will take revenge on him. But overwhelmed, Algu proclaimed that the voice of Panch is the voice of God.  Both friends embraced each other.
