The movement of the Earth around the Sun in a fixed path is called revolution. The Earth revolve from west to east i.e, in the anticlockwise direction. The Earth completes one revolution around the Sun in one year or precisely in 365.242 days. The Earth’s revolution not only affects but actually causes the temperature conditions that give us spring, summer, fall and winter seasons.
