    Lok Sabha:

    1. Lok Sabha is the lower house of the Parliament.
    2. It is also known as House of People.
    3. Members of the Lok Sabha are elected by direct elections based on Universal Adult Franchise.
    4. It has around 552 members out of whom, 20 members represent Union Territories, 2 from Anglo – Indian community
    5. Lok Sabha is elected for a period of 5 years.
