The new law is hindu successon amendement act, 2005 in the new law daughter and mother have an equal share in their property the law applies equally throught the country. After the death of the father the woman also can get the equal share. This law will benefit a large number of women. Now, if ever has a problem women can always depend upon their share of land or property.
