In Parliamentary form, executive is accountable to legislature at high level and Judiciary is independent. People of India have a direct role in electing their representatives and these representatives are accountable to the people. Accountability of Council of Ministers is checked by techniques like Question Hour, No-confidence Motion, etc. So we can say India has a parliamentary form of government.
