Before britishers arrived the villages were not in so good condition the income of peasants farmers and many small people donot earn very high income they have to pay revenue more than half of there income and they have to pay fixed revenue in any condition. The rich people like merchants bankers etc.were in good condition sometimes they were appointed by kings. The rich had no problem but poor was suffered. In the rule of aurangzeb it was very difficult for hindu farmers to survive.
