A streamlined body is a shape of body that reduces resistance when moving. A streamlined body is the one which is pointed at the ends and broad at the middle. Such body when travel through a fluid or gaseous medium, exhibit minimum friction or resistance. Eg. Body of fish is streamlined to move easily through water. Some animals, such as sharks and dolphins, are streamlined so that they have less resistance when swimming in water. This same idea works with airplanes.
