1 munro system is also known as ryotwari system. 2 it was intoduced by Thomas Munro all over south india 3 under this system the midde or the zamindars were removed 4 the settlement was made directly with the company and the ryot or the cultivator who paid half the value of the crop 5 it was revised after 20 to 30 yrs depending upon the fertility of soil
