A force having contact between them is called contact force. A force having no contact between them is called non - contact force.

Force exist between two things or surfaces in contact are called contact force example frictional force, muscular force

Force which exist between two things or surfaces which are not in contact are called non contact force. Example gravitational force magnetic force
