Conventional sources of energy are being used from a long period of time.Firewood and fossil fuels are two conventional sources of energy.
FIREWOOD: It is the most commonly and widely used source of energy. More than fifty percent of energy used in villages comes from firewood.
FOSSIL FUELS:Remains of plants and animals which were buried under the earth for millions of years got converted by heat and pressure into fossil fuels.Fossil fuels such as coal petroleum and natural gas are the main sources of conventional energy. The rate st which the growing population is using these resources is greater than their rate of formations So they are likely to exhaust soon.
