The force applied on an object per unit is known as pressure.
Relation between Force and Pressure:
If the Force’ F’ is applied perpendicularly on a surface having area ‘A’ ,
then the force applied per area is = F/A
by the definition it is the pressure on that surface
so, pressure, P = Force(F)/Area(A)
P = F/A
Force = Pressure × Area
