Problems of heavy rains: Heavy rain can lead to floods. The rivers overflow during flood and inundate the surrounding areas. Crops, houses, and livestock are badly affected during flood. Flood even affects the wild animals, e.g. recent floods in Kaziranga Wildlife Sanctuary.
