Archaelogical sources like monuments, coins, vessels etc used in past were things used by people in the past or made by them. Archeological sources include inscriptions, numismatics, excavations, art, paintings, etc.
Literary source were written material like manuscripts, inscriptions, vedas etc. Literary sources include, biographies, accounts of foreign travellers, books on law and government, historical dramas, oral record, etc.
