    Drip irrigation is a type of micro irrigation that has potential to save water and nutrients by allowing water to flow drip by drip to the roots of plants. However installation of drip irrigation system is very costly. An irrigation sprinkler is used to irrigate agricultural crops, lawns etc. They are also used for control of airborne dust.
