Positive Charge: Charged particles are the basic elements of physics. In the universe, there are two types of charges available, that is, a positive charge and a negative charge. In an atom, protons have a positive charge, electrons have a negative charge and neutrons are electrically neutral.
When an object has more number of positive charges than negative charges, the object is called a positively charged particle. On the other hand, when an object has more number of negative charges than positive charges, the object is called a negatively charged particle.
