Natural Satellites:
(i) They are formed by nature .
(ii) They are not controlled by humans.
(iii) They are permanent.
(iv) They are not used for communication.
ex: moon is a natural satellite.
Artificial Satellites :
(i) They are man-made.
(ii) They are controlled by humans.
(iii) They are temporal.
(iv) They can communicate with instruments on earth.
ex: telecom satellites are examples of an artificial satellite.
