HCF is the product of common factors with smallest powers.
LCM is the product of all factors with greatest powers
eg:- 24 = 2x2x2x3 = 23x31
36 = 2x2x3x3 = 22x32
HCF= 22x31 = 4x3=12
LCM = 23x32 = 8x9= 72
