According to Buddhism the four eternal truths are as given below:
(i) The world is full of sorrows.
(ii) The causes of these sorrows are lust and desire.
(iii) The pain of sorrow can be removed by suppressing desires and cravings.
(iv) Trishna or desire can be conquered only when we follow the middle path or the Eight Noble Paths.
The eight noble paths should be followed by Buddhist to get the highest bless, consists of eight principles. These principles are;
(a) Right Action
(b) Right knowledge
(c) Right Faith
(d) Right Aspirations
(e) Right Speech
(f) Right Living
(g) Right Efforts
(h) Right Mindfulness and Meditation.
