A push or a pull acting on an object is called force. The SI unit of force is newton(N). we use force to perform various activities. The common usage, the idea of a force is a push or a pull.
The action of a force can cause
(a) A stationary object to move,
(b) a moving object to change its speed,

(d) an object to change in size and shape.
