Metals . metals are used in making bells. . metals such as gold are used for making ornaments. .copper is a metal which is used in wires. .metals are used in making machineries, automobiles, aeroplanes, cooking utensils and trains. It is also used in making water boilers,industrial gadgets. Nonmetals .oxygen is a nonmetal which is essential for our life. .nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium are used as fertilizers. .chlorine is used as water purifier. .nonmetals are also used as antiseptics eg.iodine. .non metals are used to make crackers eg.sulphur.
