एक मैदान की लम्बाई 40 मी तथा चौड़ाई 15 मी है। यदि इस मैदान पर 50 मिमी वर्षा हुई हो, तो ज्ञात कीजिए कि मैदान पर कुल कितने लीटर पानी गिरा, यदि 1 घन मी = 1000 लीटर।
हल:
मैदान की लम्बाई = 40 मी
मैदान की चौड़ाई = 15 मी
वर्षा के पानी की ऊँचाई = 50 मिमी = 0.05 मी
मैदान में कुल पानी गिरा = 40 x 15 x 0.05 = 30 घन मी = 30 x 1000 = 30000 ली।

An integer is a number with no fractional part (no decimals).
Includes:
• the counting numbers {1, 2, 3, ...},
• zero {0},
• and the negative of the counting numbers {-1, -2, -3, ...}
We can write them all down like this: {..., -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ...}
Examples of integers: -16, -3, 0, 1, 198
