let the sum= Rs 100, T= 8 years Amount = 200, So simple interest = 200-100=100
S.I = P*R*T/100
100=100*R*8/100
8R = 100
R=100/8= 25/2
Now R = 25/2% , P =Rs 100, Amount = Rs 300, So Simple Interest = 300-100=200
200=100*25/2*T/100
200= 25T/2
T = 200*2/25
T=8*2 = 16 years
