Electricity is the set of physical phenomena associated with the presence and motion of matter that has a property of electric charge. Electricity is related to magnetism, both being part of the phenomenon of electromagnetism, as described by Maxwell's equations.

Electrides are something of a chemical curiosity. They are ionic materials within which electrons act as anions and they find roles in catalysis and as reducing agents in organic synthesis. They have been shown, both theoretically and experimentally, to exist in several materials at high pressures.

A progressive wave is defined as the onward transmission of the vibratory motion of a body in an elastic medium from one particle to the successive particle.

When two progressive waves of same amplitude and wavelength travelling along a straight line in opposite directions superimpose on each other, stationary waves are formed.

Principle Axis: The straight line passing through the pole P and the centre of curvature C of the mirror, is called principal axis of the mirror.   Normal: The normal at any point of the spherical mirror is the straight line obtained by joining that point with the centre of the mirror

Electric potential at a point in an Electric field (for instance, let's take it as uniform) is the amount of work done in moving a unit positive charge from infinity to that point against electric forces. (attraction or repulsion) whereas Electric potential difference between two points in an Electric field is defined as the amount of work done in moving unit positive charge from one point to another point against the electric force. In other words, Potential difference is simply the difference of scalar potentials between two points or anything you consider.

The moon keeps the same face pointing towards the Earth because its rate of spin is tidally locked so that it is synchronized with its rate of revolution (the time needed to complete one orbit). In other words, the moon rotates exactly once every time it circles the Earth.

Tesla

Yogita Ingle 4 years, 10 months ago

SI unit of magnetic field is tesla (T). So, one tesla is that magnetic field in which a charge of one coulomb moving with a velocity of 1 m/s perpendicular to the magnetic field experiences a force of one newton.

The work done to bring a charge from one fixed point to another fixed point is known as potential difference.

Sandeep Kumar 4 years, 10 months ago

Work done to bring a unit positive test charge from one point to another point is known as potential difference. It's S.I unit is volt and it is denoted by a capital letter V. It is also known as voltage.

Gaurav Seth 5 years, 1 month ago

Potential difference :

 Potential difference is also defined as work done to move a unit charge from one point to another.

V = W / Q

 Or

Potential difference =Work done / Charge

The angle of incidence at which angle of refraction becomes 90 degree and hence then after light ray will get reflected back in same medium.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 5 months ago

The critical angle is the angle of incidence beyond which rays of light passing through a denser medium to the surface of a less dense medium are no longer refracted but totally reflected.

Yogita Ingle 5 years, 5 months ago

Potential difference (V)= 15 V
Charge (Q)= 3C
We know that
The potential difference(p.d) between two point in an electric circuit is defined as the amount of work done in moving a unit charge from one point to the other point.
Potential difference (V) = work done (W)/Charge (Q)
V= W/Q
Putting the values in the above formula we get:
15 V = W / 3 C
W= 15 V × 3 C
W= 45 J
Hence, the work done in moving the charge is 45 J.

The image formed is inverted, real, and smaller than the object when the object is placed at Focus. The image formed is inverted, real, and same size as the object when the object is placed at 2F. The image formed is inverted, real, and larger than the object when the object is placed between 2F and F. No image is formed when the object is placed at Focus (F). The image formed is upright, Virtual, and larger than the object when the object is placed on the same side of the lens.
