Sanjay Kashyap 6 years, 8 months ago

Both VBT are CFT perfectly explained in NCERT. Well, i can explain cft in brief right now but vbt is a much lengthy topic. All the orbitals in subshell have different orientations. Whenever there is repulsion between the ligand field and any of the orbitals, the orbitals acquire higher energy. The repulsion arises when an orbital is oriented towards the ligand field. In octahedral complexes, two d orbitals acquire higher energy while in tetrahedral comolexes, three d orbitals acquire higher energy

  • Mitochondria are round "tube-like" organelles that provide energy to a cell in the form of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) for performing different chemical activities for the sustainance of life.
  • The mitochondria is also called powerhouse of the cell.
  • It is surrounded by two membranes.
  • The outer membrane is porous wherea the inner membrane has deep folds that provides a large surface to perform the chemical reactions required for the generation of ATP.
  • The inner membrane is compartmentalized into various cristae.
  • The ground substance or space enclosed by inner membrane is called matrix.
  • Mitochondria have their own DNA and ribosomes and are hence capable to produce some of their required proteins all by themselves.

It was very simple if the value of dipole moment is 0 than it is non polar and if the value is more than 0 that means it is polar molecule.

Sanjay Kashyap 6 years, 8 months ago

On the basis of dipole moment which is directed towards the electronegative element. If the overall dipole moment of an element in a compound comes out to be zero, then it is non polar and if the overall dipole moment has some value, it is polar.

(ii) Reproduction All living things produce off springs, possessing features similar to their parents. Thus reproduction is essential to maintain the continuity of life on the earth.
(iii) Metabolism It is the sum total of reactions occurring inside the body by which living things assimilate energy and use it for growth.
