First, assume the hydrocarbon is CxHy. Find the Mr, so that we can find the value of x. With Mr and x, we can find the value of y. So the molecular formula of the hydricarbon compund is C6H12.
Remember some formulas:
n = m/Mr
molecules = n x 6.02 x 1023
Mr = molecular mass
Ar = atomic mass. Ar C = 12, Ar H = 1

Inductive effect in simple terms is the result of permanet dipole produced due to polarity of the sigma bond developed due to difference in electronegativity.
This causes a permanent state of bond polarization, where the more electronegative atom has a slight negative charge ({tex}\delta{/tex}-) and the other atom has a slight positive charge ({tex}\delta{/tex}+)

The normal room temperature which would be comfortable for living is around 20 - 25° C.
In chemistry, The upper limit 25°C is taken as Standard room temperature .
We know that,
Temperature on Celsius + 273 = Temperature on Kelvin.
Now,
25°C = 25 + 273 = 298K .
Therefore, The standard room temperature in Kelvin is 298 k

Isotonic Solution:
If the medium surrounding the cell is of exactly the same water concentration as inside the cell, there will be no net movement of water across membrane resulting in no change in size of cell. Such solution is called Isotonic solution.
(iii) Hypertonic solution:
If the medium surrounding the cell has a lower water concentration than inside the cell, i.e., if the solution is highly concentrated, then the cell will lose water through osmosis. Such concentrated solution is called Hypertonic solution.
