Changes in UNSC and judiciary ..... 1. In UNSC .. no of permanent men and non. Permnt should be increased ... 2 . The decisions should not reflect the ideas of western ideology.. 3. Work should nt be done for frst world nations only ... 4 . The cbse marking scheme gives these two points:-
i. Conflict between US &USSR over the military base of USSR in
Cuba against US interest
ii. Kennedy ordered American warships to intercept any soviet
ships heading to cuba as a way of warning
Although another major reason is that it is the closest the two countries got to actually engaging in a full scale war i.e. a hot war.
