Nam was created by the 5 countries, namely Yugoslavia, Indonesia, Egypt, India and ghana. Nam which was started by5 friend countries slowly became the third world. Nam mainly wanted less alliance of each superpowers so that it won't turn out as world War. Nqm also wanted newly decolonised countries to stay away from cold war.

Series of tension and confrontation between USA and USSR which began with the end of second world War in 1945 and ended with the disintegration of USSR in 1992. It has resulted in bipolar world but with the disintegration of the USSR in 1992 the world became unipolar.

The reason behind disintegration of USSR in 1992 are as follows :- 1.although ussr was strong economy but bacause of its high expenditure on defense sectors it was in debt with which the government couldn't cop - up (economic reason) 2.gobrachev's uncontrolled rule, it worked as a petrol in fire, he bis intentions was good but his inability control his own reforms were destructive for ussr. 3 strong desire of sovereignty in states like belgrade etc made ussr split one after one. 4 another was the government was authoritarian and unanswerable to the people also the people didn't have eight to soeech and expression.

Nam has become irrelevant today because nam was created to cool down the relationship between USA and USSR who were involved in fight with each other proving oneself superior. But after the disintegration of USSR in 1992, the significance of power of USSR has degraded resulting in unipolar world, with one superpower that is USA. Hence there is bo need of 3rd block or nam.
