    The invisible man had no choice. After he escaped from Iping, he was in desperate situation. His important note-books or research journals in which he had written the process of becoming invisible in cipher, had been left behind at Coach and Horses. He badly needed an accomplice. As he was wandering here and there in search of a place to take shelter, he found Mr. Marvel. Fortunately no one was around. So he decided to take his help in getting his journals back from Iping.
    Marvel had to comply to Griffin’s wishes because the latter threatened him of dire consequences in case he did not do his wishes. He had already overpowered Marvel by showing him his invisibility. He had hurt him with a rock as well. Thus, poor Marvel had no option left but to comply to Griffin for his own safety.

    Thomas marvel is something of a stock character. He is a poor, homeless and jobless wanderer. In other words he is a tramp. He wears shabby old fashioned clothes. He doesn't seem to like work. He does everything in a leisurely manner. But marvel ends up with success. He has become the landlord of the little Inn near Port Stowe and the owner of all the information about Griffin. He is short and a little man with a nose of cylindrical proportions and scattered hair. He is rich because he has been able to keep all the money Griffin stole because lawyers could not identify the sources accurately. He is a bachelor and conducts his house with decorum. Though he declines to work as an assistant to Griffin, he exploits his name and several encounters with him. He disposes stories about him to earn money . That is how Marvel is able to rise up from being a poor tramp to being the owner of an Inn

    The Invisible Man was given many names in this novel. At first, he was the stranger who arrived at Iping. Then, he was the Voice that startled everybody. However, his real name was Griffin. Though he was the protagonist of the story, all his deeds were more like that of an antagonist. He was an eccentric scientist. Though he was a gifted scientist, he used his mind in a sinister was. He devised an experiment to become invisible and then started looting and murdering whoever came in his way. He was very irritable and impatient. He lost his temper over pretty things and started hurting others. He had lost all his sense of conscience and didn’t feel sorry even after his burglary led to his father’s death. Although he was lonely and seemed to have been misunderstood from time to time, he failed to gain sympathy due to his murderous rage and evil ways.

    See ..in english exam most easiest thing to do is the literature section. Go through the chapters in ncert and carry a dictionary while reading chapters and instantly find out meanings of words which u dont understand. After each chapter, go through their analysis from the website live english u ll understand the chapter's hidden meaning. It will help in writing answers. See jn every language, proper usage of grammar is very necessary to form proper sentences which writing answers. This needs knowledge of basic grammar. Try to learn that through some onlinesource. After that just study the formats for writing section, practice them, read some sample comprehensions. then just try to sove some last years papers...plz dont go for model papers and sample papers their level is higher than what actually comes ...it will demotivate you. Be positive and do hard work continuously. Everything is easy for a determined person .?
