Dr Kemp was a scientist. An year senior to Griffin. He was a very kind and sensible man. he was astonished when he saw that his room was open and the door knob was full of blood. he entered the room and saw that there was blood all over. ofcourse it was the invisible man. he had entered burdock while following marvel who had run away with his books.griffin explained to kemp that he was an albino from the university and kemp was his senior. He also said that he had changed his subject from medicine to physics and was fascinated by a formula which he had discovered that could make tissues invisible. kemp ddid not belive him at first. the im said that he was tired and wpuld tell im the whole story later. Kemp was wise inn writing a note to colonel Adye about the im. next morning im narrated his whole story og going invisible and all the advantages he had. he also highlights the problems that he had faced. the im says that he would like to create a "reign of terror" and rule over people. kemp feels that im had lost his humanity and had become a cruel beast,a heartless beast. during the course of the narration by im,colonel adye comes and im feels betrayed.he tries to kill kemp for being a traitor. he writes to kemp that the reign of terror had begun and kemp wpuld be the first one he would kill. kemp in a threat of danger wisely decides to report to adye as he was not selfish and wanted to save the people from the invisible mans threat.he being such a wise man is hunted by im but is not helped by his neighbour heelas. but ultimately he seeks help from the navvies and gets the im killed. thus we can say that dr kemp was a wise, intelligent not selfish and a person who wanted to do good for the society inspite of his life being in danger.

Invisible Man understood that Marvel was a homeless tramp and he could use him as there is no one to ask about him.

Harsh Garg 8 years ago

Mr Marvel is the local tramp. He is something of a stock character when we first meet him. He's a poor, homeless, jobless wanderer-in other words, he's a tramp. He wears shabby, old-fashioned clothes, like his "obsolete hat" and he has buttons replaced by pieces of string. The narrator goes so far as to tell us that he does everything in a leisurely manner. He doesn't seem to work or excitement. Marvel is harmless, eccentric, fat, but not nearly as stupid as Griffin thinks he is. He is smart enough to know when a good thing has happened to him; the stories he tells to the press bring him much attention and sympathy. In the end , he gets to keep all the money Griffin stole, and he contrives on his own to keep the books of Griffin's experiments. He becomes the owner of an inn as well as the village bard, as it is to him that people come when they want to know the stories of the invisible man. In spite of his earlier torment, he is the only one who actually benefits from Griffin's presence.
