2.this happened because gandhiji's main agenda was not only the monetary compensation but to let british landowners kneel down on their knees and to sacrifice their prestige....and to show indian that these people can also be defeated who were otherwise considered unquestionable.

Sado was a doctor who was very devotional towards his work, sadao as a doctor saved life of tom, knowing that he was an American soldier and saving his life could have caused his freedom or even his life. He was a person whose defination of patriotism was not above the humanity. Hana wife of sadao was a lady of words, she loved her husband sadao a lot and she respected the decision of sadao of saving tom,she knew the consequences of saving him but she didn't want sadao to suffer from the situation alone this shows how loyal she was.
