    The Invisible Man is given many names in the novel at first is this person who rides at I think then he is the voice that is starttls everybody however his real name is Griffin he is Sun as the protagonist of the story but all his dates are more like that of an antagonist he is a eccentric scientist he was very gifted but used his mind in Sinister way he devised a method to become invisible and then started looting and murdering whoever came in his way he is very irritable and impatient he loses his temper over petty things and starts hurting others he has lost his conscious and doesn't feel sorry even after burglary lead to his on father's death although he is lonely and seems to have been misunderstood from time to time he fails to gain sympathy due to his murderous rage and evil ways.

    Description of the village of Raveloe

    • The village of Raveloe was the place to which Silas flew after being falsely accused of crime at Lantern Yard.
    • Raveloe was an uncivilized village which was the opposite of the village, Lantern head.
    • Raveloe had large farms and cattle.
    • The people of Raveloe did not give much importance to religion or attending church on Sundays.
    • Rather they were more friendly and easy going.

    Some of the differences between raveloe and lantern yard

    • Lantern yard was a religious community but people of Raveloe was not so religious and they gave little importance to the church.
    • The people of Lantern yard were money minded and selfish but the people of Raveloe was friendly and helpful.

    Themes which are prevalent in "The Last Lesson" by Alphonse Daudet are love for own's mother tongue, freedom of language and patriotism.

    The Prussians denied the freedom to the people Lorraine and Alsace to learn their own language.

    The colonizers take way the right of the people. This story stresses the importance of education and one should respect their own language. The practice of linguistic chauvinism is highlighted in this story to draw our attention. It focuses on disregarding other languages and taking pride in own mother tongue or language.

    People of Lorraine and Alsace are the victims of linguistic chauvinism. They are forced to learn German. Whereas, when in school, French was taught Franz and his friends used to take the lesson lightly. This highlights our value to things which are less when we have it more. Also, the parents preferred to see their children working well rather than learning French.

    Later they realize upon how they missed the French classes and they were sorry about it. How Prussians drilled their land is shown by how unfairly they are treated and have a sense of loss.

    In the given story, Jack feels that he has been caught in an ugly middle position. He made efforts to make Jo fall asleep but it proved quite fatiguing because she kept on interrupting him, asking for clarifications, pointing errors and suggesting alternatives. So he extended the story but the result of the extension to the story proved unfruitful and unpleasant for Jo, Jack and Clare. As Jo wanted him to change the ending of the story, Clare complained that he had told a long story.

    The tiger king wanted to prove the prediction wrong so he went on a tiger hunt to kill 100 tigers. He killed 99 tigers facing many problems. But the 100th tiger was nowhere to be found. So, his rage was at peak. But one day the dewan saw a tiger in Madras national park and at night brought that tiger in the jungle in which the maharaja was hunting. So the very next day maharaja saw the tiger and shot it. But the bullet missed the mark and the maharaja was unaware of the fact and left afterwards. So one of the bodyguard killed the tiger. After that the king decided to care for his kingdom and his family. The king's son birthday was coming so the king bought a wooden tiger which was being curved by an unskilled worker. So while playing with his son one small piece of wood pierced in his hands and the wound grew large and he died. The ironical statement is that you can't challenge your death because it's inevitable and will come to all and none could stop it.
