The poet wants that these children be given varied facilities so that they get proper education and enjoy the bounties of nature. The poet is appalled to see their grim and gloomy faces. He is genuinely concerned and wants to improve their condition. He wants them to be free of hunger, torture and agony. So he urges the administration to take substantial steps for the welfare of these innocent victims of penury.

In the short story 'The Last Lesson' by Alphonse Daudet, the atmosphere at school on the day of the last lesson was quite different from usual. There was a lot of sadness and solemnity due to the order from Berlin that only the German language would be taught in the schools of Alsace and Lorraine. The school was unusually still and quiet and there was no sound of the opening and closing of desks and lessons being repeated in unison.
The French teacher, M. Hamel, was wearing his fine Sunday clothes which he wore only on special occasions like inspection and prize days.
There was also a profound change in his behavior and he was more polite than usual.
Lastly, the back benches of the classroom were occupied by the village elders who were attending the class as a mark of respect for their mother-tongue.

Human life is analog and languages are digital. Because of this languages makes man modern. It makes activities independent of each other. This is because a sentence is a group of world, which makes independent sense and therefore, it’s meaning is not dependent on the meanings of other sentences. Because of this languages enable us to modify a small part of our life, leaving rest of our life untouched.
When written allegorically sentences don’t make complete sense and the meaning of each sentence is dependent on the meanings of other sentences. While reading scriptures we apply the same rules of grammar for them and come to wrong conclusions. Thus, for us Rig Veda 10.90.1 means that Purusha has thousand heads, thousand eyes and thousand feet. What it actually means is the our muscular system can isometrically synchronize and unify into a single muscle and we think, perceive and act with that.
You can’t describe the nature of god using modern languages.
What is said in languages can’t be taken back. In contrast anything communicated through feeling can be taken back if unacceptable.

The poem A Roadside Stand by Robert Frost begins with poignant imagery of an impoverished farmer's home and a roadside stand that he has set up. The roadside shed or stand symbolizes the pleas and longing of the farmer for that extra money from the snobbish city-bred passers in their sleek cars.

This question is based on the short story 'The Last Lesson' by Alphonse Daudet. M. Hamel, the French teacher, partly blamed himself for neglect of learning of French on the part of boys like Franz.
He often sent his students to water his plants and took holidays whenever he wanted to go fishing.
He also blamed the people of Alsace for not giving due attention to their native language and putting off learning till the following day. He blamed them for not being bothered enough to have their children learn their native language, French and opting to put them to work on their farms or at their mills instead.

Douglas hated to walk naked, into the pool and show his very thin legs. Secondly, he was fearful about going in alone. So, he sat on the side of the pool to wait for others. But he had to go into water as one cannot learn swimming without going into water.
