Linguistic Chauvinism' means carrying pride in one's language too far. But the love of Hamel and the village elders for French doesn't amount to this. Rather they are victims of it. German is being imposed on the French speaking people of Alsace. M. Hamel feels genuninely proud of French language. He urges others never to forget such a beautiful language. M. Hamel went on to talk of French language. He told that it was the most beautiful language of the world. It was the clearest and the most logical of all languages. He asked the people to guard it among themselves and never forget it. As long as people 'hold fast to the' language' they have the key to freedom.

Subject: Troubles faced by public during Dharnas and strikes

Sir:

I am writing this letter to express my concern over the problem of Dharna and strikes. The people who suffer the most with Dharna and strikes are the common people. I myself became the victim of one such public demonstration; I could not reach my entrance exam for JEE on time and missed it. These strikes, Dharnas, and demonstrations cause many inconveniences to people. Some of the many demerits of Strikes, Bandhs, and Blockades are given below:

1.The general flow of life is stopped. Vehicles, transportation system is halted.

2.People face inconvenience.

3.Supply of essential goods and services is affected.

4.Sick people or critically ill people can’t be moved from one place to another.

5.Production of essential goods is affected.

6.Public property is damaged.

7.Schools, colleges, and universities are shut down.

8.The poor people who earn their wages on daily basis don’t get work and wages

Through the medium of your esteemed daily I appeal to people and the Government to join hands against Dharnas and strikes. If they have anything to protest they may do it peacefully, without resorting to violence, damaging public property, etc. The Government must also make strict rules and regulations against violent Dharnas and strikes.

Thanking you.

Yours truly,

I need to prove my talent but how. I will try to study and be a good human being first. They make me joker of class instead of helping me. How can they behave like this. I need to make my parents understand this and make my moment towards my goal . Ok diary will see u soon time is up....

Priya Dharshini 6 years, 5 months ago

Dear diary, Today was a bad day for me. Everyday infact. People make fun of me as i cant hear them. No one is fully perfect. Everyday they bully me and hurt be more than the pain i have in this dissability. Even though i am dissabled kid i try my best to study. I am good at academics then them. Due to my dissability my vocabulary words are also less. I am trying to learn few.i cant express this to my parents also. I dont have any friend who can understand me. Even as my class mates make fun of me and hurt me by their harsh words teachers dont say them anything they also sometimes make fun of me. I should have joined in some dissable school instead of being in co- ordination school. If i would have joined there i would have got many friends who understand me truly and my problems. I cant say this to my parents also. When i came new to this school i thought it would enjoyable. But everything vanished when they came to know i am dissabled kid. Why did i born. My mom should have aborted me so that i need not suffer this much in my life.
