no third level did not exist at all...it was only charley's imagination...the letter which he found was just a blank sheet in one of the first day cover...the letter got imprinted automatically just bcoz of his imagination ....even sam was an imaginary character just to prove the existence of third level...

M.Hamel, students and even the villagers were sad that from now on teaching of french would be banned and they regretted not taking their mother tongue seriously. M. Hamel usually sent students to water jis plants or to run his errands and parents of students also sent them to work in mills instead of studying french in school. The last lesson was taught by full dedication by M.Hamel and the villagers also attended the class as it was the last time they would be learning French. At last M.Hamel wrote 'Viva La France' which meant 'Long Live France', this portrayed his patriotic nature.
