The general was a self centered man. If he sent the assasins and if they kill the soldier, somehow dr sadao will be arrested for harbouring an enemy soldier. It would be a trouble both for sadao as well as soldier, as he trusted only sadao as his surgeon and not anyone else. Anytime he may need an operation. He neither had compassion for sadao and feelings of humanity to the enemy soldier. He only taught of himself

So here is the answer-)) In every battle the stronger side wins and the strength could be mental or physical but after reading the story we get conclusion that b/w crime and punishment there is a battle of wits. This is not always that criminal get punished even in the story the well trained police officers were easily fooled by Evans who cleverly managed to escape from the prison . After taking so much of precautions they were not able catch the Evan's clever planning to escape..... ..... ....... So hope it helps ?

ummm... might be there is a possibility but as per several sample paper which I had done there is a option between debate and report... and on the other hand speech and article is in same question. but when on another sample paper there is a option between article and report ... and debate and speech.. it's bit confusing for me to imagine the pattern.. ??

according to me both are necessary yrr. without reading the textbook u will not able to understand sample paper. so first go through with book after that do sample paper but tym is less only do quick revision.
